It’s only Wednesday, but we’ve already had a lot of interesting information cross our desks and couldn’t wait until our weekly wrap-up to share:

Our online strategist Audacia Ray has been guest-blogging at Feministe.  Check out her posts about the effects of changes to the abortion law in the Netherlands, and seven key sex worker advocacy projects in the U.S.

Today, the Guttmacher Institute released a report on maternal mortality in India. The report found that maternal mortality remains unacceptably high in India, even though this hard-to-measure indicator has likely recently started to decline.

The United Nations Alliance of Civilizations and the International Organization for Migration have launched PLURAL+, a youth video festival about building a more inclusive and tolerant society.  Aimed at engaging young people in a dialogue about human rights, diversity and migration,  PLURAL+ invites youth between the ages of 9 and 25 to submit short videos on these topics.  For more information and a complete list of rules, click here.
