wrong. many women dont have choice just to "stand up for themselves". like what happened to the woman, she was disobedient and what did she get in turn? She got her nose cut off. It's not as easy as it sounds in many places. There is no "court" in many places, women are not seen as equal in many lesser developed countries and simply cant standup for themselves.

violence against women is not right women of earth if you are reading this stand up for yourself fight for who you are no one can tell you what to do realise your rights take the jerk who violates your human rights to court and get justice not only for yourself but for all the women out there who are too afraid to stand up for them this is our time now your time to be exact so get out there live life to the fullest do not let any man out there make you feel like he is better than you because we are all equal as one we are as strong as we think we are.Be happy ladies its 2010 so make a difference start fresh next year and shine
