Every Minute of Every Day a Woman Dies Giving Birth
Join Amnesty International in Times Square on September 20th from 9:00am – 9:30am to bring attending to the more then 500,000 maternal deaths that happen every year. Join us on Broadway between 44th and 45th where we will launch a video on a billboard in Times Square and help gather petition signatures! The more people that attend, the more attention we can help bring to the issue! We are asking that all volunteers arrive by 8:45. All volunteers will be provided breakfast. If you would like to join please send an e-mail to tmcharris@aiusa.org or call 212.633.4215. Together we can make a difference!
