During the MDG Summit at the United Nations in New York this week, there were lots of other blogs devoting themselves to covering the proceeding. Have a look at:
- The International Planned Parenthood Foundation created a blog just for the MDG Summit – read their five posts on Sex and the Summit.
- The Global Health Magazine’s blog humanized the MDGs with stories of people around the world who are affected by the problems the MDGs are trying to address.
- Eric Williams of Physicians for Human Rights and Sam Hindels of AMREF USA have a post on the Global Health Council’s Blog 4 Global Health with their perspective on the question “What is required to meet the health MDGS?”.
- The ONE Campaign, a diverse coalition of groups working together to expand the number of Americans committed to fighting global AIDS and extreme poverty, has an MDG Tracker up on their site.
- The Maternal Health Taskforce Blog has a few posts related to the MDG Summit.
- MADRE has a wrap up of all their MDG activity, including their Twitter feed.
- Check out the #MDGSummit hashtag on Twitter for short updates from people who were there!
