Our partner CREA, which is based in India and also runs the annual in-person Sexuality and Rights Institute, is getting ready to run their second Disability, Sexuality and Rights Online Institute. The nine-week course, which runs from mid-October to mid-December, provides a study of theory and practice for people working in fields such as development, health, media and rights, including disability and sexuality. The aim is to develop awareness of issues of disability and sexuality and a political perspective on disabled people’s sexual rights. Participants develop their ability to work in inclusive and holistic ways that further health and social justice. The course is designed to be accessible and will be conducted entirely online and requires six hours of time every week during the course.
